Upcoming Year

TotalDECOM have been working hard over the last few months to plan and ensure 2020 is going to be our biggest and best year to date. You can have our downloadable calendar which highlights our scheduled events for the upcoming year.

We are wasting no time and holding our International Conference at The Royal Society in London. This event will see worldwide speakers travel to London to highlight challenges and successes of the decommissioning industry. Our 2020 International Conference will take place 26 February at the historic Royal Society in London, featuring a strong global presence and high profile organisations. The event will welcome senior international experts and presenters who will explore a range of cross sector topics, including:

  • Policy and Regulation
  • Financing
  • Investment
  • Environmental Protection
  • Socio-economic impact
  • Community Relations

A drinks reception and networking lunch will give delegates the opportunity to make meaningful connections throughout the decommissioning industry. Bringing together policymakers, regulatory bodies, operators, and suppliers from across sectors can provide real value to live and future projects. The strategic approach to networking throughout the day enables delegates in the supply chain to compare experiences and collaborate towards innovative solutions.

At the end of March 2020 and beginning of April, we are hosting our Expo 2020 in The Point at Emirates Old Trafford. The TotalDECOM Expo will host a supply chain exhibition, 1 to 1 networking appointments and two presentation theaters, providing delegates and exhibitors the opportunity to network in existing markets and to diversify into new sectors.

This unique showcase will welcome operators in need of new skills and innovations to solve decommissioning demands, as well as experts with products and services created in response to these challenges. There are a number of Exhibition stand options available to suit most budgets, as well as open areas.

We will be hosting our rescheduled Decontamination Solutions, regional supply chain event this year, with a save the date going out soon for this event. This will kick off our year of regional events which will be announced as they are confirmed.

TotalDECOM's aim is to facilitate expertise transfer, to promote potential business development and promote collaborative innovation across decommissioning sectors, whilst helping industry expenditure and environmental impact. The parallels in the knowledge required to decommission any assets are remarkably similar across sectors, therefore industry connections are essential to complete a successful decommissioning enterprise.

This is why we plan our events to connect people and help their business and personal relationships flourish, leading them to future work and resources as they continue with their journey within the decommissioning industry.
